Andy, I do that some too. The one problem I have is going back to notes. I remember a lot of the time to write stuff down and capture my ideas, but I forget to regularly go back a see what I wrote. Every once in a while I do, and after being separated from my ideas by time I can view them more impartially. Some I look at and think "what a terrible idea." Others I look at and say "wow, I thought of that? I should really make that happen." I just wish I was able to do it more regularly. Do you regularly look back at your notes?

I use scrap paper and lots of it. That way I can organize the scraps into something useful. Or, if I don't use it or have second thoughts on it, I can toss it away. But I do have notepads full of things that I save for looking over later for inspiration.
