I remember to say that is not the only way that students can participate. Students can also participate on laptops or tablets by going to poll4.com and answering there. We also don’t base our classes completely around the polling. It is a jumping off point to discussions, which everyone can participate in.

One question–I think almost all students have a cell phone, but what if someone doesn’t? It’s odd to hear, but occasionally we do run across a student (young) who doesn’t have a cell.
