You can never underestimate the power of a good mind map. They are so useful for lots of things. Spacial learners find them particularly helpful. Love your blog. Great to hear your passion come through.

Sally, thanks for your comment. People have different reasons, but I think a lot of people got into librarianship because they are simply really curious. It took me a while to understand it and articulate it, but now I get it. I’m glad you liked the post and share that same curiosity.

Thank you! Your reasons for becoming a librarian are exactly mine. I too love information and could never be a specialist in one subject. There are just too many interesting topics and people in the world. Anytime someone asks me why I’m studying librarianship, I’ll just send them a link to this post!
