Thanks Andy. I’m hoping that people don’t get consumed or destroyed as they’re making change. Though sometimes burnout definitely happens. If you are trying to be a lone catalyst I’d imagine it can be pretty lonely and draining. It’s definitely helpful to have a support network and other catalysts you can talk to.

Great post, Andy!

My only quibble is that, in chemistry, catalysts tend to be consumed, altered, or destroyed by the chemical reaction they are assisting. I’d rather not imagine that my reference work will leave me burned out, hollow, or otherwise indifferent.
